Blue Goldstone is a man-made stone with copper flecks in it, giving the glitter effect. It was first created en masse in the 17th-century in Italy. Most commonly it is a reddish-brown color, however it can be made to be a variety of colors, including a dark purple-blue with silver flecks. Goldstone is called the stone of ambition, and can be used to attain one's goals. It is also thought to encourage a positive attitude.
